I like the location and the rooms at this hotel. But I think they charge far too much for their “Pet Fee”. Its $150.00 and I’m not sure why this fee is so exorbitant- I don’t find the rooms to be particularly pristine- there were stains on the couch in my room- so if that charge is for stain removal - well that’s not happening here. Also, the ice making machine appeared to be vandalized and there are more signs of damage and graffiti around the property certainly not caused by dogs. I feel that this place should forgo the pet fee and police the grounds better and check up on their facilities. It’s silly to be so precious about pets causing damage, when obviously management are neglecting the entire property. A year ago this place was super nice, but now it’s just okay and really they chage too much for what you get.

We did enjoy our stay very much and would recommend this hotel, especially due to the great service that was offered. We arrived late & got assigned a different room type than what we booked. The staff at reception couldn't be more apologetic and made it worth by offering compensation. Nice grounds (incl pool with comfortable seats), nice rooms, comfortable beds, restaurant with great food & excellent cocktails, breakfast restaurant with good options and good coffee.

I loved the grounds and the buildings of the hotel. It created a very nice atmosphere. The rooms were as well nicely decorated, spacious and no noise from aircos etc. The car we could park right in front of the room, which was great and the pool was only a minute from the room. Breakfast was of a very good quality and enough choice.

Natasja

Newly renovated one bedroom suites with tasteful decor. Gorgeous lobby/bar area and beautiful patio/garden area with luscious vegetation. The hotel restaurant is great, and the gourmet breakfast was delicious. Don't forget to see the Sexton historic house, which is in the middle of the hotel property.

Francisco

Loved the grounds, the pool, the tents/cabanas that offered some privacy at the pool. Also appreciated the blackout curtains, the precise temperature control in the room and the comfy bed. And the staff was very responsive and quick to bring us things we asked for (i.e. a highchair for our son).
